What Dyson is
Dyson is a British technology company founded by James Dyson in 1991. Since 2019 its head office has been in Singapore, where it builds the digital motors at the heart of its vacuums and hair dryers.
Korea is one of Dyson's key markets. James Dyson personally launched the Supersonic Nural — the dryer whose sensor lowers the heat as it nears your scalp — in Seoul in March 2024, and it went on sale in Korea two months before the US.
