What Onitsuka Tiger is
Onitsuka Tiger is a Japanese brand whose story began in 1949, when Kihachiro Onitsuka founded an athletic footwear company in Kobe. In 1977 it merged with two other firms to become ASICS, and in 2002 ASICS revived Onitsuka Tiger as a retro fashion footwear label.
The brand's calling card is its crossed stripes, introduced in 1966, and the Mexico 66. The other instantly recognisable silhouette is the yellow-and-black Tai-Chi from Kill Bill. For enthusiasts there's the Nippon Made line — shoes manufactured in Japan.
The brand is especially popular in Korea: Momo of TWICE has been its ambassador since 2022, and Seoul has several Onitsuka Tiger stores, including the Garosugil flagship and a dedicated Nippon Made shop.

Why Onitsuka Tiger is easy to order through Kshop
In Kazakhstan Onitsuka Tiger is sold mainly through multi-brand shops and marketplaces. The brand's official Korean site offers current collections and sizes straight from the manufacturer, with no doubt about whether a pair is genuine.
Onitsuka Tiger lasts are narrow, so it's easy to get the size wrong. Send us the model and your foot length before ordering and we'll help you pick from the Korean millimetre scale; after purchase we match the pair against your order at our Seoul warehouse.
